AV Consultation

LSS can assist instructional staff in preparing AV materials. For minor projects, usually there is no charge. For major projects (e.g., an entire course) the cost of materials and staff time may apply.

LSS can help you produce everything from video courses to taped lectures, from web sites, to slide presentations (traditional or digital), audio programs, and multimedia programs. We can also prepare digital materials for creating CD-ROMs, or for delivery via the web (e.g., streaming audio and video). Contact our staff to explore your needs and how LSS may be able to help you.

AUDIO RECORDING STUDIO

A professionally equipped sound-proof studio (248 Van Hise) is available to Letters & Science teaching staff for recording, editing and other processing necessary to prepare audio recordings for use in class or for individual student use. Traditional analog and new digital recording equipment is available. Trained personnel assure quality recordings. There is no charge for this service in most cases. Scripts should be prepared and rehearsed, with enough copies for everyone, before arriving at the studio. Doug Worsham (262-4965) schedules and can assist you in preparing for recording sessions.
