LSS Workshops

No LSS workshops are scheduled at this time and no regularly scheduled workshops are planned for the forseeable future.

Here are some other options:

Faculty and instructional staff

• L&S Learning Support Services Faculty and staff in the College of Letters & Science can request no-cost, one-on-one instruction centered on an instructional project such as a web page, PowerPoint presentation, or audio/video clip. Contact Lisa Jansen lisa@lss.wisc.edu or 262-1126 for more information. Please provide a brief description of the project including the technology you plan to use and the type of instruction you need.
• DoIT Learning Technology and Distance Education Free workshops and consulting services to UW-Madison faculty and instructional staff.
• DoIT Professional and Technical Education Fee-based workshops on a wide variety of topics to all UW-Madison faculty and staff.
• DoIT New Media Centers Facilities and one-on-one assistance for faculty and staff working on instructional projects. No fee for service.
• Video Collection at College Library
  The Computer and Media Center inside College Library has videotapes available for checkout.
• Library and Information Literacy Instruction
  Free drop-in workshops and online instruction for UW-Madison faculty, staff and students.

TAs, PAs, RAs

• Software Training for Students STS training is available free of charge to all registered UW-Madison students.
• DoIT New Media Centers Facilities and one-on-one assistance for faculty and staff working on instructional projects. No fee for service.
• Library and Information Literacy Instruction Free drop-in workshops and online instruction for all UW-Madison faculty, staff and students.
• Video Collection at College Library
  The Computer and Media Center inside College Library has videotapes available for checkout.
• Student Technical Training
  Free training program designed to give students the technical skills needed by many campus departments and organizations.

Classified and administrative staff
