Web Multimedia Streaming Services

As the web grows, the demand for multimedia content increases. Multimedia content on the web takes the form of audio or video clips that can be provided to students on demand.

Most of the time, the clips are small enough to be downloaded to the student's machine. However, larger clips can be "streamed" to student's machines, resulting in lower download times as the download occurs progressively while the student views or listens to the content.
