If you are viewing movies or listening to audio from the Digital Learning Lab while in the LSS InfoLab,
you may be prompted to unblock the web browser. This behavior occurs
in both Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers. The prompt appears
after you have entered the correct username and password.
To view the movie or listen to the audio, click the "Unblock" button.
At that point, you will see the movie/audio begin to load and you should be able to continue without any problems.
The InfoLab now has DUPLEX printing. You do end up paying for each side, so it doesn't cost less, but you are saving resources.
To print on both sides, follow these easy instructions:
On a PC
- Select File->Print.
- Look at the available printers.
- Select the printer with duplex in the name.
- Click OK or Print, depending on your application.

The LSS InfoLab staff has received several queries about the Checkout Quota System. This system is in a testing phase at this time. When you check a laptop out, a counter is updated and the lab attendant may pass that information on to you. However, the counter is not being used to limit checkouts at this time.
Instructors and students often want to project from a Macbook to a projector. Here are brief instructions for doing so from both the XP and MacOS partitions on the LSS Infolab Macbooks. These instructions will work for most dual-boot Macbooks, although variations will occur depending on specific configurations.
The LSS InfoLab has acquired four Mini DVI-VGA adapters to connect a Macbook to a projector. Please verify the type of connection that you need for your personal Macbook - this adapter will not work with all Macbooks or Macbook Pros.

CLUE must be run on a PC, and will require speakers or headphones. You may bring your own headphones into the LSS InfoLab. You can also borrow a headset from the lab attendant in the LSS InfoLab. The lab attendant will hold your student ID while you use the headset.
